Here is an interesting timeline infographic produced by the website called Ooma that will take you on a journey through the history of communication technology which starts in 100,000 BCE with the origin of human speech and goes all the way through to 2019 when T-Mobile became the first company to launch a commercially available 5G network. Other important milestones featured in the design are 1876 when Alexander Graham Bell made the first phone call, 1945 when the first digital computer was invented and 1971 when the Engineer Ray Tomlinson sent the first email between two different computers.
